The cherry red color of this wine is highlighted with purple tones.  It exudes an elegant aroma that is rich with fresh fruits like raspberries and laced with notes of spice and toasted vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon.  On the palate, the silky texture is intense, showing flavors of blackberries, spices and tobacco that lead into a lengthy, concentrated finish.

Andy's Notes: This is a consistently great wine from a great producer. It's a firm and rich wine with great balance. Soft but strong tannic structure, with tidy acidity. Black currant, raspberry, and oak lead on the nose. Cassis, plum, chocalate, and oak are on the palate.
