A ruby red color in its youth, but develops into more of a garnet tone. An eclectic, blended bouquet of wild berries, violets and vanilla. In the mouth, it is a bit dry, with a velvet texture and showing some warmth. Rich through the finish.
Andy's Notes: I love Brunello di Montalcino. Love it. And this one is certainly one of my favorites. Full bodied with firm, yet smooth, tannins. In the mouth, bright red fruits, primarily cherry, lead the way. There is a strong element of earth, leather, and tar as well. Drink now or wait 10 years!
